Mature Lime Putty

Made using traditional methods of slaking calcium oxide.

This forms a putty which is then left to mature enhancing plasticity.

Ideal for period properties made from stone and brick.

H315 Causes skin irritation

H318 Causes serious eye damage

H335 May cause respiratory irritation

P102 Keep out of reach of children

P280 Wear protective gloves/ clothing and eye protection

P302 If on skin wash with plenty of water

P305 If in eyes rinse with water for several minutes

Applications:

- Use as is for fine plaster skimming for top coats less than 1mm thick.

- Mix with water to create lime wash. 1 part putty : 2 - 3 part water.

- Mix with sharp sand to create lime mortars. 1 part putty : 2.5 - 3 part sand.

- Use same lime mortar mix for lime plastering but add hair in for base coats.

Protect all lime products from frost, wind and direct sunlight.

Regularly mist lime products with water to prevent rapid drying.
