A client had a barn with an old Dutch roof that was leaking terribly. He had made many, many attempts to patch it up but none of them were successful.

Mr Landscapes inspected the roof and assessed that it was completely misshapen and bent as the supporting metalwork was severely under specified and corroded and the only way to stop it leaking was to completely replace the roof.

The team produced a design that would provide proper support to the roof and proceeded to fabricate the struts from scratch. Once all of the new components were engineered, the roof had to be completely removed.

It was at this point that the really appalling state of the existing structure was revealed.

Working with the roof off in British weather conditions was also a great challenge!

The roof got a thorough testing for being water tight only a few days after being finished and not a drop was seen inside!
